Quick updates

Okay, life is crazy, not much time to write, promise better updates when I am finally HOME ON THURSDAY! SO excited.
Well, am moving this week. Found a nonfurnished place in our current neighborhood (which is good). It is big, but no furniture and no heat. President of AIESEC Tunisia is going to be rooming with me and Isaac which I think will be good. Have to move my stuff in on Wednesday before i leave. Bought some furniture on Sunday at the giant outdoor flea market (that deserves its own post) and a few colleagues and Sarra's family are thankfully donating to the poor American intern cause. Its a worthy cause.
It is freaking cold here. I mean Wisconsin in November cold. And i do NOT have enough warm sweaters. Or hats. Or gloves..
I had to finally give away Ari, our cute puppy. He really was a mamma's boy and he was seriously this first living thing that i felt fully responsible. I am sad without his silly little bark, although he's just at Sarra's house so i can visit him still. Her cats are terrified of him.
Leave for Boston on Thursday morning on a 6 am flight. I will make this one. Christmas plans sound fabulous and my couch and warm house awaits me!

A little Cheer

Sunday night as I was cooking up some dinner, Rim helped out by turning on some music. Some CHRISTMAS music! I got so excited. We then snooped around the house a bit and found cds that belong to the family and lo and behold (the man IS a missionary so it makes sense), there were Christmas cds! And not just ANY Christmas cds, but even a DISNEY Christmas cd! I spent the rest of the night (even after Rim had to leave) having my own little sing along. One or two songs made my eyes water up a bit, or maybe that was the onions. Daniel (my Swedish friend) and I are planning a Christmas party- complete with Christmas songs and he wants to make mulled wine. I don't know what else to include since we have no oven that can bake Christmas cookies, but we'll think of something. In any case, I may be in Tunisia, but i can still get in the Christmas spirit!
P.S. I'm home in 15 days for the real thing! So excited!
