Final Sprint
Wow. Only word that sums up the fact that we're graduating in 3 weeks. Wow. As much as I would like to enjoy the gorgeous weather we've been having, I have one last academic sprint to push through until I can really celebrate. Need to cut 30 pages of the thesis in the next 2 days (eek), write a french paper and take a physics exam. All in the next week. Revising the final thesis draft shouldn't be a big ordeal so it's really the next few days that matter. In a weird, sadistic way, it actually feels good to have a few more library days and academic responsibilities. I'll certainly miss some of it, but definitely not the all nighters!
Mifflin this coming weekend. Another 'wow.' Just glad I don't have to work and excited to just have a day of partying with my favorite people. FIngers crossed that the po-pos don't want to ruin our fun.
And still vaguely thinking about and looking into options for next year. Still trying to get contacts in Senegal, but also looking into a Salaam traineeship for 6 months to a year. Priority is definitely the thesis right now. I can worry about becoming a real person when I get back from our fabulous trip we have planned and am relaxing in Boston for a month or so, eating my mom's good food and slacking off until the Man tells me i need to do something with my life. Oh, starting new life chapters are exciting yet a little daunting!
