End is in Sight

Finals have not been particularly demanding this week, but just drawn out. One toughy on Tuesday which I think went well, and my French one in like 14 hours. Sarah and I studied a bunch for it, but really, I don't think anything can fix my attendance record this semester in that class- hopefully my professor thinks otherwise.
So, my last night at Helen C for the year and I'm alone. Lame. After a semester of having the whole AIESEC crew together all the time on the first floor, i end it alone. Not happy about that. Brokeback left super early. Mix and Bruni left a little while after that and Sarah left me in the end. Feeling abandoned, but excited by the promise of booze at 4:25 tomorrow when my exam is done. And lordy knows I will not be alone!
Excited for summer- in less than a week I get to drive home with Katie80. Spend a night there, down to NJ to visit old friends for a night and then Katie and I begin our summer of excitement in NYC. I expect visitors- lots of them. This weekend will be a bit of a hungover packing fest, but hopefully not as stressful as ones past (think stranded in India and coming back after school started and having to unpack).
And, as Katie sentimentally put it, I'm excited at all the amazing things my friends are doing this summer. Just found out that Lili will be in Jerusalem and then Cypress for the summer. Glad that I have amazing friends that like to shake shit up.

Bad Decisions, Good Times

Well, after not having slept for virtually three nights straight, we had our final mock trial for my Criminal Law class (which had me dressed up as a dude for my witness role) and my side had a victorious conclusion. Sweet.
That's when things got interesting. Our professor was taking us to The Essen Haus for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. He did a shot of tequila with us. Danielle, who is in the class, is always trouble for me. So, deliriously tired, we decided to drink our hearts out. This was aided by a phone call offering me the apartment that i wanted- I'll now be on 112th and Amsterdam/Broadway for the summer with 2 awesome sounding roommates. This of course sounded like a fantastic reason to celebrate.
After a few rounds of the boot game, the arrival of AIESECers and siting Douchebag Dave (which always makes me angry), we got quite silly. This was followed by some very fuzzy events. I suppose there was a stop at The Cardinal, then Danielle and I went to The City for some reason and I think I ended up going to Taco Bell by myself and htne not eating it because in the morning it was on my desk- uneaten.
Well, after some Friday library time, I ended up dead to the world from like 5:00 pm till 12:00 pm the next day. Awesome. Hence, why I am now at the library at 12:11 Am Sunday morning writing a paper on Jury Nullification Instructions while others are drinking at the Terrace.
Good news- I have an apartment for the summer. Bad news- finals may just kick my butt this week.

6:00 AM Revelations

Yes, it's been awhile- deal with it. I'll be back in the habit after finals. Bottom line, stuff's been hectic and Austin was incredible.
1. Making a list of what I need to do until next Friday was simply more stressful- the list is highly resistant to being put in priority order. Everything is a priority at this point.
2. All nighters are productive, especially with the help of drugs.
3. My class on tragedy just blows.
4. Finding an apartment in NYC for the summer is near impossible- tons of postings on Craigs List a day, but even more people looking!
5. My rent check JUST might bounce
6. I wish I was at LTM because it sounds like I missed a lot, but for my sanity, probably a good thing I wasn't
7. That old bitchy woman needs to STOP coming into Laundry 101
8. I really want to go out for Cinqo de Mayo
9. I forget how to use Flickr so can't put up pictures
10. Red Sox beat the Yankees tonight. Haha. Damon looks silly now. Haha.
