Too long, too long

I suck. It's been forever since I've written. However, I have been reading other people's if that counts. I guess the main reason why I haven't written, is that there hasn't been much time. AH yes, time. My biggest nemesis since I started college, except I guess parking tickets. Which by the way, I received 4, yes four in three days of doing interviews. Damn Grainger High.
SO, things have been very busy. I finally moved all my crap into my apartment, although it is still in boxes and bags. Me and my roommates got a kitty that has been informally named Titty and the cat LOVES to play in my room because it just jumps in the boxes and bags and on my computer. So at least my stuff is now in my place, disorganized as it is.
Classes are fine I suppose, I'm still behind on all my readings, but I'm going to play catch up this weekend. Last Sunday was my birthday- same day as Jenna's except I only turned 20. By the way, I think 20 is an absolutely pointless and dumb birthday. It just reminded me that I'm getting old and that I'm still not legal to drink- which is clearly not an issue. Oh well. I still had a good time with Eric, our trainee Mohammed and Mo's Moroccan friend. Also, the season premiere of Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy were on that night, so I was quite happy with that.
Last, but certainly not least, AIESEC. So, the semester has definitely started. We have cultural events and Halloween that we're starting to plan. And since we pretty last minute agreed to host our regional conference, Betsy (god bless her soul) has been running around and pulling that together. We also just finished getting our newbies. After a rather disappointing first info session, the second was stellar and had great attendance. We ended up interviewing tons of people and had some phenomenal people. Really diverse group. So we will be having 29 new folks to join our community and we'll get a better chance to meet them at orientation on Sunday. And I'm super curious to see how the new structure works out and all.
So, that's all for me.. but my question is - WHO'S COMING TO HALLOWEEN?!

Current Thoughts

This past week has been an absolute crazy whirlwind after coming back from IC in India and starting school/AIESEC/a new apartment. So here are some thoughts:
1. India is NOT what I expected (follow up to come in a few days)
2. It is very inconvenient that I can't move into my new place yet
3. I should pay some rent for Eric's place since I've practically moved in
4. LC Retreat tomorrow which is exciting but a little nerve racking
5. I have amazing amazing members here who have made my life so easy
6. Life officially starts next week and i'm so not ready
7. I need to buy groceries
8. I miss Boston and I miss Jessie who's in Ghana
9. I have lots and lots of emails to write and i'm not sure where to start!
10. I'm excited to be able to drink Tropicana orange juice again!

I promise an update about India next week, with pictures! That'll all happen when I get moved into my apartment finally.. just need mother dearest to send me the other set of car keys since mine were in the purse that was lost!

Stuck

Okay, so I'm at IC right now and have had a phenomenal time these past 2 weeks. However, I won't be writing about it until i get back.
But, I am writing as an info update. 2 nights ago, my purse with my wallet and my passport was stolen/went missing. I was supposed to leave tonight, but that won't be happening. Apparently, I can't get a new passport until Tuesday so that means that I can't leave until Wednesday at the earliest. Shitty. That means that the LC retreat has to be moved and I will be missing Eric's 21st bday. Needless to say, I'm pretty upset. But, time to buck up and enjoy the rest of the conference!
